Found with some medicine, Cook Liu is accused
of stealing. Her possessions are searched and she and Fivey are to be thrown
out. Baoyu, knowing the truth, agrees with the maids to take the blame; Xifeng
doesn’t buy it, but Patience persuades her to be merciful to Cook Liu.
