Li Wan and Tanchun take a greater role in
running the household, and are unpopular with the servants. Tanchun is
particularly tested dealing with her own mother. Patience defends her, and
Tanchun builds a strong reputation, making Xifeng proud. Xifeng, meanwhile, is
concerned about the household expenses.
